Mildred Morgan

1 Leave a comment on paragraph 1 0 Mildred Morgan was elected NCFR’s 15th President. She took office at the conclusion of the 1957 Annual Conference, in August, and served through the 1958 Annual Conference. She was a professor of home and family life at Florida State University and was instrumental in the development of the Interdivisional Program in Marriage and Family Living at the university.

3 Leave a comment on paragraph 3 0 Contrary to common assumption, the sex drive does not disappear with the climacteric in men and women, although it does wane. Most sexologists agree that it depends upon how the aging human being feels about aging. Masters and Johnson and Kinsey found that the older human female is fully capable of sexual performance at orgasmic response levels. Men can maintain frequency patterns into their fifties and enjoy intercourse until at least 80. Maybe if older people knew about this life would be more interesting and they wouldn’t get so bored with each other.
