2 Leave a comment on paragraph 2 0 The 1993 Annual Conference took place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Baltimore, MD, November 10–15.The theme was: “Moral Discourse on Families.” The focus was to discuss the ethical and values assumptions upon which professionals base their study of families and their work for families. William Doherty was Program Vice President.

3 Leave a comment on paragraph 3 0 Andrew Billingsley presented the opening plenary session, which was co-sponsored by the Religion and Family Life and Ethnic Minorities Sections. His topic was “Family Values Reconsidered.” The Presider was William Doherty. Other keynote speakers were Jean Bethke Elshtain and Susan Moller Okin.

4 Leave a comment on paragraph 4 0 A new conference category, Research Updates for Practitioners, was initiated for the purpose of updating practitioners in areas on cutting edge issues within the scope of NCFR’s research focus.
