The theme was “Competence and Family Living: Interprofessional Approaches.” General sessions included topics such as “Implications for Education Through the Family Life Cycle,” by Evelyn Millis Duvall; “Counseling and Family Competence,” by Aaron Rutledge; “The NCFR and Its Dynamic Life Cycle,” by David Treat; “Economic Bases for Competence in Family Living,” by Meno Levenstein; “Communication of Ideas Pertaining to Family Life,” by Wallace Fulton; and “Analysis and Interpretation of the Conference,” by Ernest Burgess.
