2 Leave a comment on paragraph 2 0 By December 31, 1987, 250 professionals became Certified Family Life Educators (CFLEs) in NCFR’s program. An unintended but happy consequence was that 170 new NCFR members were added to the rolls. Income to support this program was also supplemented by the sale of over 1,000 application packets.

3 Leave a comment on paragraph 3 0 Steve Jorgensen chaired the Review Committee, consisting of Richard Hey, Betty Barber, Marion Hill, and Tristen Jimenez, with Joyce Portner, ex officio staff member. The Continuing Education Committee added new member: Marilyn Coleman.

4 Leave a comment on paragraph 4 0 The Board approved the establishment of an annual certification maintenance fee of $20 to cover costs of tracking, updating, and corresponding with CFLEs. The Board also approved the continuation of the Experience Recognition category of CFLE for an additional 2 years (through 1990).
